Presented is a 176-card complete set of 1915 Cracker Jack cards. The 1915 Cracker Jack production contained thirty-two more players than the inaugural 1914 Cracker Jack series and both series' are admired for their detailed portraits of the era's ballplayers. Each card is showcased against a blazing red background while "Cracker Jack Ball Players" adorns the top edge while the player's name and team is featured on the bottom. The backs carry a biography for the depicted player along with instructions on how to obtain a full set by mail. At first glance this set has a VG presentation quality, but was once mounted in an album so the backs concede back damage, glue residue and extra paper stock. Nearly 30% of the cards have an erased pencil or pencil notation; many instances noted the player's changed team name and some of the cards were trimmed. Those condition detriments aside, this is classic set and some argue, the most beautiful baseball card set ever produced. In total, 33 cards have been graded by SGC. Includes: Graded Cards SGC 10 PR 1: 28 cards w/#'s 2 Baker, 3 Tinker, 7 Collins, 12 Mack, 14 Crawford, 17 Bresnahan, 18 Evers, 19 Bender, 23 Comiskey, 36 Walsh, 37 Alexander, 43 Marquard, 52 Wheat, 57 Johnson, 61 Schalk, 65 Speaker, 66 Lajoie, 69 McGraw, 70 Clarke, 73 Carey, 75 Huggins, 77 Jennings, 88 Mathewson, 103 Jackson, 133 Rickey, 136 Maranville, 161 Rousch and 167 Griffith; SGC Authentic: 5 cards w/#'s 6 Plank, 30 Cobb, 32 Brown, 35 Hooper and 68 Wagner.
