All sixteen of the Universal Toy & Novelty Co.'s New York Yankees player cards appear on this 5-1/2" x 13" sheet, along with the issue's 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" team-photo collectible. The blank-backed pane, which includes #'s 117-132, plus the unnumbered team card, is highlighted by #'s 119 Hoyt, 123 Ruth, 130 Mays and 131 Huggins. A legend at the top right corner reads, "Universal Toy & Nov. Mfg. Co. - I.N.C., Copyright Photos." Natural handling faults and chipping are primarily confined to the piece's edges and corners, and most of the single cards in the item's design exhibit bright, fresh quality. Extremely scarce in this highly desirable, uncut and intact form! Goldin Auctions will be donating 5% of the winning bid price of this lot and all lots in this auction to the Babe Ruth Birthplace Museum.
