Offered is a unique item from the 1932 World Series Champion New York Yankees. That historic team would finish with a 107 wins and featured several future Hall of Famers.

This Louis Fonseca model Hillerich & Bradsby bat stamped “BONE RUBBED” has been cut in half and signed by 21 members of that team. All of the signatures have been signed in pen and start at the top of the barrel with the inscription “To the boys of Chicago Sincerely,”. The original owner stated that the "Boys of Chicago" was a reference to Al Capone's gang and this bat was previously owned by one of its members. From the top down the signatures are presented as a list and include: Babe Ruth, Red Ruffing, Earle Combs, Lou Gehrig, Frank Crosetti, Bill Dickey, Ben Chapman, Lefty Gomez, Tony Lazzeri, George Pipgrass, Doc Ferrell, Johnny Allen, Art Jorgens, Jack Saltzgaver, Dan MacFayden, Herb Pennock, Lyn Lary, Sam Byrd, Myril Hoag and Joe Sewell. Manager Joe McCarthy signed his name perpendicular to the team and inscribed “MGR 1932”. That’s an impressive nine Hall of Famers listed on this bat (McCarthy, Combs, Dickey, Gehrig, Gomez, Lazzeri, Pennock, Ruffing, Ruth and Sewell). This bat comes with a full LOAs from Mears and PSA/DNA.
