Graded MINT 9 by PSA. Hall of Famer. Among more than 5,625 copies recorded in PSA's census reporting, just one example has been placed at a higher tier. Presented is the "1960 Rookie Star" depiction of Boston outfielder Carl Yastrzemski. A fixture in the Red Sox lineup from 1960 until his retirement in 1983 (at the age of 44), Yastrzemski is featured in a bust shot as a first-year phenom on this ever-popular (and condition-sensitive) Topps collectible. Throughout his career, he collected over 3,400 hits, 450 home runs and had a lifetime batting average of .285. He was inducted into baseball's Hall of Fame in 1989. This first-year collectible is well-centered, features four white borders that culminate into sharp points and exhibits fantastic eye appeal. Incredible Mint condition.
