This lot of 12 vintage photos includes in action plays of Game 2 from the 1963 World Series, a clean four game sweep for the Los Angeles Dodgers over the New York Yankees. Dodgers won this game 4-1 behind pitching of Johnny Podres and Ron Perranoski. Players depicted include Jim Gilliam, Tommy Davis, Frank Howard, Johnny Podres, Tony Kubek and Maury Wills. All have original paper captions attached. Also comes with an original manila press folder indicating for World Series (2nd Game).
