The Balfour team issued 10K gold ring features twenty-three small diamonds set with the team's familiar NY logo, all which rests upon a large blue stone. Around the perimeter is "WORLD CHAMPIONS 1996" in high relief. The one shank features the recipient's name "QUINONES", a depiction of the World Series trophy, and two engraved banners reading "COURAGE" and "HEART". The left shank features a design comprised of the Yankee Stadium facade, the team's logo, and "TRADITION" engraved on a banner. This size 10 ring weighs 40 grams, and originally had "LGB 10K" engraved within the band; however, a previous owner had the inside band professionally polished to make the ring larger, thereby removing the original inside engraving. Team issued New York Yankees World Series rings from this recent dynasty are extremely rare on the open market. This is an extraordinary original 1996 Yankees World Series ring from the club's first 1990s World Series Championship. Near Mint appearance with original wooden presentation box.
