Michael Jordan was 34 years old when the 1997-98 season began, an age when most NBA players were long retired - but not MJ. The Bulls superstar was well into the second phase of his career and he proved just as dominant as he did a decade earlier. Jordan's return to the NBA heralded another "three-peat" for Chicago, making an unbelievable six NBA Championship rings for Jordan. Jordan averaged over 28 points per game during the season and that combined with his game winning jump shot in the Finals won him his fifth NBA MVP Award. Jordan donned this red Chicago Bulls jersey on the road during that 1997-98 season. The bold red jersey has "BULLS" and Jordan's number "23" on the front in white and black tackle twill. The neck and sleeve openings are trimmed with red, black and white ribbing and the NBA patch is on the left breast. Nike size "50" label is in the lower left front tail along with NBA, Bulls and "Length +4" tagging. The back has "JORDAN" and his number "23" in white and black tackle twill. The jersey shows light game use with several loose threads on the tackle twill lettering. To top off an already important piece of NBA history, Michael Jordan has signed the "2" on the back of the jersey in white ink. Please see detailed pictures online to evaluate strength of signature.
