After 50 seasons in Texas which included six 100 loss seasons and 13 last place finishes, in 2010 the Texas Rangers franchise finally made the World Series. Having to beat the defending World Series Champion New York Yankees, the Rangers followed the formula of power, speed and dominant relief pitching to win their first ever pennant. We offer a high grade example of their Championship Ring, presented to coach Jeury Medina. This is the same ring given to players such as Josh Hamilton, Michael Young and Cliff Lee.
On the face is a large diamond studded Texas "T" surrounded by rubies and still more diamonds. Encircling this Capital T is “2010 AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPIONS” in raised relief. The left shank provides a Texas State flag constructed of diamonds, sapphires and rubies, with the recipient’s name “MEDINA” on top and the letter "T" below, while the right shank contains a highly-detailed miniature Ballpark at Arlington with logos of the Rangers and the American League. The interior band of the 53.2 gram, size 10 ring is a boldly stamped "Jostens 10K." Ring is in overall Near Mint or better condition and comes with the original hinged wood and etched glass display case. Ring includes a notarized letter of provenance from Jeury Medina, the original recipient.
