Graded MINT 9 by PSA. Hall of Famer, depicted in his debut-year gum card appearance. Among more than 3,100 copies recorded in PSA's census reporting, no example has been placed at a higher tier. An uncirculated, pack-fresh example of Willie McCovey's rookie card is presented. McCovey was one of the game's great sluggers and an early member of the 500 Home Run Club – when it was truly an exclusive group. This card is very tough to find in pristine condition, as it's usually plagued by various printing problems. The offered example appears to have been freshly removed from a pack. The card's gloss is perfect and its colors are brilliant and uninterrupted. The piece's borders are bright white and all four corners are immaculate. An exquisite collectible, in stellar Mint condition.
