Offered here is the first base bag from Game 3 of the 2003 ALCS between the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox. Game 3 was a duel at Fenway Park between two pitchers with a combined 10 Cy Young Awards, Roger Clemens and Pedro Martinez. Clemens came out on top against Martinez, helped by a perfect two-inning save from Mariano Rivera to close out the game. The Yankees prevailed in this series in seven games, going on to lose the World Series in six games to the Florida Marlins. This base is almost completely covered in light brown infield dirt from nine innings of being manned by Kevin Millar and Nick Johnson, and features the ALCS 2003 logo on two of its sides. This item comes with an MLB hologram authentication (MT00230014).
