Presented here is a handwritten letter from Connie Mack to a “Mr. Adams”, written on July 1st, 1945. This letter was written on stationary from the Book-Cadillac Hotel in Detroit and discusses both Babe Ruth and the Philadelphia Athletics poor form at the time (they would finish the season with 98 losses and in last place in the American League). Mack signed this letter, which is written in black pen. This item comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (J29828).
