Presented here is a collection of game used memorabilia from iconoclastic New York Mets pitcher Turk Wendell. The first item in this lot is a half-zip black Mets dugout jacket. Wendell has signed this size “XL” jacket in silver marker, inscribing “1999 Game Used” below his signature. The second item in this lot is a size 7 Mets cap worn by Wendell circa 1998-2000. He has colored in the underside of the brim in black marker, writing “Turk’s #99” and a cross in an un-colored triangle. Wendell has signed the cap in silver marker. This cap comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema. Finally, a pair of Wendell’s blue Nike Air high-top cleats are included. Wendell has signed these cleats in silver marker. All of the items come with individual COAs from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for the signatures.
