Washington Redskins star running back Clinton Portis wore this burgundy Washington Redskins helmet during the 2004 season. Portis finished the 2004 season with 1,315 rushing yards and eight total touchdowns, including a touchdown pass to Laveranues Coles in a 17-10 win over the Detroit Lions. This helmet was manufactured by Riddell and features the Redskins’ logo decal affixed to each side of the helmet. The center crown is bisected by a yellow stripe with two white border stripes on each side exposing the burgundy to form additional stripes. The facemask is yellow and “REDSKINS” is in yellow on a black background border on the crown above the facemask on two sides. The white chinstrap is still attached to the helmet and has Riddell in burgundy on the top strap and “26” affixed on a black decal on the lower strap. The back of the helmet has the NFL shield decal on the left, an American flag decal on the right and “REDSKINS” printed in burgundy on a white border. This helmet displays outstanding game use and the white interior padding is still intact. This helmet comes with a LOAs from RGU and PM&G for the game use.
