A great gamer dating from Wade Boggs' prime. During the 1988-89 seasons, the Red Sox third baseman hit a combined .348, led the league in doubles and batting average. The Louisville Slugger B349 model bat shows heavy use with a cracked handle. Many ball marks and stitch impressions can be seen on the barrel and the ball marks include blue ink transfers. Cleat imprints are on the barrel along with green bat rack paint streaks. A moderate coat of pine tar is on the handle and a heavy coat is present near the center brand. Boggs' number "26" is handwritten on the knob end in black marker. The Hall of Famer has signed his name between the stamped endorsement and centerboard in black marker. Letter of Authenticity (1B07822 & W45663) from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat GU 8.5.
