With a .302 average, third baseman Wade Boggs continued his streak of nine consecutive years with a .300 or higher average. Boggs was the Red Sox' model of consistency and his dedication was acknowledged by the fans when he was voted to his 6th All-Star Game. One of the rare ball players who could be a fan-favorite of both the Red Sox and Yankees, Boggs and his lifetime .322 average became a first-ballot Hall of Famer in 2005. The Louisville Slugger B349 shows heavy game use but is untracked. Boggs' number "26" is located on the knob end and best of all the Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in black marker between the centerboard and stamped endorsement. PSA/DNA sticker W44662 is affixed to the front barrel and sticker 1B07817 is affixed to the barrel end. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA who have graded this classic Wade Boggs gamer GU 9.
