Teddy Ballgame had the sharpest eyes and the sweetest swing to ever grace Fenway Park. His Hall of Fame Career spanned four decades, from his debut in 1939 until his retirement in 1960. During that interim, Williams clubbed 521 HR, plated 1839 RBI, hit .344, and set the OBP record at .482 (meaning Williams made it to base nearly half the time he was at the plate). That statistic may never be matched.
Williams boldly autographed this 35-inch, mint condition, 125-model, Louisville Slugger below his engraved signature on the bat’s barrel in vivid blue Sharpie. The signature is clean and clear. “Powerized” is engraved above the label. “GENUINE LOUISVILLE SLUGGER” and a scripted “Ted Williams” are scripted at the barrel’s head.
