This off-white, mesh pullover garment was worn by future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning during the 2001 season. The jersey features dazzle cloth shoulder and sleeves, and stretch spandex side panels and arm joint supports. "MANNING" is sewn on the nameplate at the back of the piece in blue tackle twill lettering, and the quarterback's number "18" adorns the front, back and sleeves in like fashion. Situated at the neck base is the NFL shield logo, and Reebok's emblem is sewn to both sleeves. Blue-white-and-blue stripe-ribbed, stretch nylon/cotton shoulder inserts are present, and stitched to the front left tail is a Reebok/Colts label with two accompanying flap tags respectively noting the size "50" and year "01." It appears the nameplate was removed and re-applied, likely performed by team personnel. Front of jersey is signed boldly in blue Sharpie “Peyton Manning SB XLI MVP.” Excellent apparent game use with photo matching performed by MEARS, Graded A4, cert number 301717.
