Dizzy Dean was one of the hardest throwing pitchers of all time, and one of the games most colorful personalities. After his pitching career, Ol’ Diz took to the microphone and began a long career as a broadcaster. He penned a bold “Dizzy Dean” (“8/10”) black marker signature on the side panel (his usual spot) of this near white OAL Joe Cronin baseball. On another side panel is written “May 13, 1972 White Sox Park”, likely not in Dean’s own hand. Can be displayed as a single without the inscription. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
