Moses Malone more than justified his “Chairman of the Boards” nickname over a 22-year career that saw the forward haul in 7,382 offensive rebounds, the most in professional history. Malone, a former NBA champion and three-time MVP, wore this Houston Rockets warm-up top during a 1977-78 season when the 6-foot-10 paint presence averaged 19.4 points and 15 rebounds per game. Malone signed the back of the cream warm-up prominently in bold, black Sharpie with the inscription “2001 HOF” below “HOUSTON,” which appears in red tackle twill. The front of the collared, button-down warm-up top with red and yellow accenting reads “ROCKETS” in red tackle twill. The inner button flap at the bottom of the warm-up features a “Sand Knit” manufacturer’s tag, size 44, with Malone’s number “24” written in black Sharpie. The signed warm-up shows moderate signs of use, including heavy staining in the stomach region. The warm-up comes with an LOA signed by Malone and a PSA/DNA LOA.
