Used as more of a defensive weapon as his career has worn on, Stephen Drew was just that at shortstop for the Boston Red Sox during their run to a World Series title in 2013. This white game-used, button-down Drew jersey comes from Games 1 and 2 of Boston’s 4-2 series win over the Tigers in the 2013 ALCS. Drew was second among shortstops in fielding percentage in 2013, helping back Boston’s pitching staff to the Fall Classic title. “RED SOX” appears across the front of the jersey in red-on-navy tackle twill, with Drew’s number “7” on the reverse side in matching style. The left sleeve of the jersey features a “B STRONG” memorial patch in honor of the Boston Marathon bombing, while the right sleeve hosts a “2013 POSTSEASON” patch. The front tail of the jersey features a “Majestic Authentic Collection” manufacturer’s tag with a white strip tag that reads “7 46 ’13,” indicating Drew’s number, jersey size and year. The game-used Drew jersey is certified by the MLB Authentication program, number “EK987802.”
