One of the most memorable and improbable moments in United States Olympic history, the 1980 U.S. men’s hockey team won the Gold Medal at the Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York with a dramatic victory over Finland in the final game and defeated the heavily favored Soviet Union along the way. This commemorative “Miracle 80” red, white and blue jersey is signed on the blue and red tackle twill number 80 in bright silver Sharpie by 20 members of the 1980 Gold Medal winning team including: Mike Eruzione, Jim Craig, Neal Broten, Mike Ramsey, Dave Christian, Mark Johnson as well as 14 others and comes with PSA/DNA LOA #VO7333. The word “Miracle” is stitched in white tackle twill on a blue name plate on the back of the jersey and the number 80 is stitched on both sleeves in red and blue tackle twill.
