Comprised by a young fan in the late 1950s, these official post cards and team issued photos were sent to various players and returned to “Tom Hayden Birmingham, MI” who was obviously a Detroit Tiger fan, and partial to the Baltimore Colts and New York Giants football teams. Most of the postcards were sent back with personal notes and inscriptions to Tom, and are dated either 1958 or 1959. Most are football, but there are 15 baseball signatures. Some highlights: FOOTBALL – Kyle Rote (3), Yale Lary, Ollie Matson, Alex Karras (rookie era), Jim Orr (3), Bill Wade, Bob Mitchell, Raymond Berry (2), Bil George and Earl Morral; BASEBALL – Mostly Detroit Tigers of late 50s with Harvey Kuenn (2), Frank Bolling 93), Don Mossi, Larry Osborne, Bob Cerv and Sherm Lollar; BASKETBALL – 1 w/Bob Cousy. Great original collection. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
