Two-time AL MVP and four-time AL home run and RBI champion for the Detroit Tigers from 1930-1946 with a three-year hiatus while serving in the military during WWII, “Hammerin’ Hank” Greenberg was a member of two World Series champion teams in Detroit and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1956. Greenberg signed this handsomely framed and matted photo in black marker in the lower left hand corner. Black and red framed presentation includes gold metal label with the following inscription: Hank Greenberg, 1911-1986, Detroit Tigers and Pittsburgh Pirates 1930-1947, Hall of Fame 1956, A.L.
