Recognized as one of baseball’s greatest active players, Albert Pujols continues to carve out his legacy in what is sure to be a Hall of Fame career when his days on the diamond are all said and done. Pujols made his name as a member of the St. Louis Cardinals, a franchise where he earned three National League MVPs awards and two World Series titles. This signed, game-used white Cardinals home jersey comes from Pujols’ 2009 MVP year. His signature appears in bold, black sharpie on the back of the jersey between “PUJOLS” and his number “5,” both of which appear in red-on-black tackle twill. The front of the jersey features the traditional St. Louis logo, with two redbirds perched atop a baseball bat and “Cardinals” scripted below all in chain stitching. Pujols’ number “5” sits below the logo in red-on-black tackle twill. The left sleeve of the jersey features a commemorative “MLB All-Star Game” patch for St. Louis, the host city of the even in 2009. The signed jersey shows light evidence of game use and comes with an LOA from James Spence Authentication with verification number “B94442.” LOA from game worn expert Dave Miedema.
