Babe Ruth made his first World Series appearance in the 1915 Fall Classic, garnering a single at bat during the five game Boston Series victory. This program is from Game 3 at Boston, a 2-1 Red Sox victory over future Hall of Famer Grover Cleveland Alexander. The interior pages include separate team photographs of Boston and Philadelphia, while a second Red Sox team photo appears on the back cover as part of an advertisement for Stag Brand Sweaters. Babe Ruth is included in each team photo. The program has been neatly scored in pencil for Game 3 of the Series and records a 2-1 Boston victory. The 7.25 x 10.375 inch program displays a light vertical fold, with very light edge and bright and clean pages. Truly remarkably well preserved all original example, and high grade for such an early World Series program. Excellent overall condition, with greater eye appeal.
