Offered is a highly desirable Yankee Stadium example Game One large format program from the exciting 1926 Series. The substantial 16-page program (9.5 x 11 inches) features large portrait images of each club's respective manager, Miller Huggins and Rogers Hornsby, on the cover. The interior pages include photos of league and team officials, as well as portraits of 25 members of both the Yankees and Cardinals. Neatly scored in pencil for Game 1, a 2-1 Yankees victory as Herb Pennock spun an efficient six-hitter. The program displays moderate edge wear, a light vertical fold and both covers detached from the spine but are held together by tape. Good condition overall.
