This souvenir score card was issued at Chicago’s Wrigley Field during the 1929 World Series where the Chicago Cubs faced off against the Philadelphia Athletics. The cover of this program features the “A’s” manager, Connie Mack, and the manager of the “Cubs,” Joe McCarthy with an art deco design. The interior pages contain black and white images of the players along with league and team officials. A vertical crease is visible down the center of the program, and the score card in the center of the program has been marked with pencil. The corners of the pages show folds as well. The original gold rope binding is still intact.
