The St. Louis Cardinals turned the tide on the Philadelphia A’s in the 1931 series, winning the title in an exciting seven game series after losing the prior year. This program from Game 1 at St. Louis is neatly scored in pencil, indicating Lefty Grove’s dominance after a shaky first inning. Grading Very Good, this program contains moderate cover wear, with light pencil and soiling plus corners creases. The spine is intact but has some separation at the top and bottom. Very Good overall condition.
