The Washington Senators faced off against the New York Giants during the 1933 World Series. Going extra innings in Games 4 and 5, the Giants won the series, 4 to 1. This unmarked, 20-page score card has the original staples and binding intact and shows no folds or creases. It was issued at Griffith Stadium during one of three games: Game 3, 4 or 5. The cover features player-managers Senators’ Joe Cronin and Giants’ Bill Terry. Within the program, black and white images of league and team officials along with players from both teams are pictured. There are also brief biographies of each player from both teams on the back pages. The score cards with the starting lineups from the Nationals and Giants are at the center of the program and are unmarked.
