The World Series finalizing the 1933 campaign placed Bill Terry’s star-studded Giants against Joe Cronin’s Senators – both HOF player managers. Notable for being the last World Series the Senators would play in, the Giants outlasted the Washington squad in a five-game clash. This program from Game 1 at New York is neatly scored in ink, indicating Carl Hubbell’s dominance in a 4-2 complete game victory. Grading VG/EX, this program contains moderate cover wear, with a pen mark plus light creasing and a vertical fold. The spine is intact but has some separation at the top and bottom. Very Good – Excellent overall condition.
