With 13 future Hall of Famers combined, it was only fitting the 1934 World Series between the St. Louis Cardinals and Detroit Tigers went the full seven games. This 9 x 12 inch, 24-page program was issued at Sportsman’s Park during that tightly contested Fall Classic. This un-scored program is from Game 3 at Sportsman’s Park. Although the program score pages are clean and unused, there is a folded pre-printed, one-page scorecard which is neatly scored in ink. These additional one-page scorecards were usually distributed outside the stadiums to fans unwilling to purchase an official scorecard. Grades VG-EX, with a nicer overall appearance, but contains some edge discoloration and ink mark of “Oct. 5” on cover. Back cover has small team along edge. VG-EX condition overall, literally two scorecards in one.
