During the 1935 World Series, The Detroit Tigers defeated the Chicago Cubs 4 games to 2. This was the Tigers’ first Championship out of five Series appearances. Games 3, 4 and 5 were played at Chicago’s Wrigley Field during which this souvenir score card was issued. The cover of this 12-page, unscored program shows some creasing and light color fading. The interior pages feature black and white portraits of players from both teams. At the center is the score card, unmarked. There is a visible line drawn in red ink along the center fold between the two pages featuring the Chicago Cubs.
