Featured is an unscored, uncreased 26-page official program from the 1936 World Series. The New York Giants faced the New York Yankees in the first of the “Subway Series.” Yankees won the Series in 6 games. This program features an Art Deco inspired cover illustrating the New York skyline. The cover has a pencil mark near the bottom-center of the page. Within the program are black and white photographs of league and team officials. Team portraits are accompanied by brief biographies of each player from both teams. Located at the center of the program are the score cards with the starting lineups for both teams, unmarked. The pages containing the Yankees pictures and the score card for the Giants have come partially loose from the binding but remain attached by the top staple.
