Offered is a 1939 program from the Centennial celebration of baseball’s 100th anniversary of its discovery. The program features an image of Joe DiMaggio with a fabulous red, white and blue cover. Inside is a history of baseball, with pieces on the two college teams, R.P.I and Union College, who were playing a game at Doubleday Field. The neatly score program has pre-printed lineups for both teams, and is neatly scored in pencil. Vertical pocket fold down the middle with moderate edge wear, with an intact but slightly loose cover. Very Good to Excellent overall condition.
