The fifth annual contest once again saw Lefty Gomez start for the American League, and for the second consecutive game in the annual mid-summer classic, the National League won 4-1. As this game was played in Washington’s Griffith Stadium, the cover features an image of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt throwing out the first pitch of a game, with the Capitol building as the backdrop. The program itself is in low grade condition, with two punch holes near the spine for placement in a two ring binder. There are also light pencil markings in the scorecard area, changing players from the pre-printed lineups. Also, there are pencil notations under each of the small portrait photos of the participants. Grades Fair to Good condition.
