A darkly toned “New York Club” baseball with 15 signatures including HOFers Rogers Hornsby and Gabby Hartnett, who signed the baseball twice. Also includes Charlie Grimm (partially traced), Eddie Rommel (evidence of tracing), Pinky Higgins, Roger Cramer, Lew Krausse, Cy Perkins, Bill Shores and several others. While the PSA/DNA letter states this is a “circa 1940's ball, “all legible players were members of the 1929 World Series Philadelphia Athletics and Chicago Cubs teams. The ball was probably signed at one of the five games played that World Series. Signatures range from “4-6” with a few lesser but a very solid Hornsby. Full LOA from PSA/DNA, cert number V02631.
