Big Mark Trumbo wore this “Turn Back the Clock,” MLB Authenticated (#EK 349993) 1969 “California” Angels uniform during the team’s game against the Oakland A's on July 27, 2013. Trumbo had the most productive season of his brief career-to-date in 2013 knocking 34 home runs with 100 RBI. He was traded at the conclusion of the season to the Arizona Diamondbacks in a blockbuster three-team, five-player deal. This size-50, vintage 1969 Angels button-down, gray road jersey has the word Angels stitched across the front using the team’s historic font in dark blue and red tackle twill and Trumbo’s number 44 on the back. A “100th Anniversary” MLB logo patch is sewn on the left shoulder and an MLB Authentic/Majestic manufacturers label with size-50 is on the front left tail. Matching pants have blue and red side piping with mesh sliding pads sewn into rear pockets and also contain MLB Authentic/Majestic label stitched into the waistband with a “44 Trumbo 38-48 40 OB C 1969” strip tag. Uniform shows light game use with grass stains at bottom of pant legs.
