Long and lanky Anaheim Angels ace Jered Weaver wore this “Turn Back the Clock,” MLB Authenticated (#EK 349870) 1969 “California” Angels uniform during the team’s game against the Oakland As on July 27, 2013. Weaver didn't pitch that day but went 11-8 with a 3.27 ERA on the season for the Angels in 24 starts after missing half of April and most of May. This size-50, vintage 1969 Angels button-down, gray road jersey has the word Angels stitched across the front using the team’s historic font in dark blue and red tackle twill and Weaver’s number 36 on the back. A “100th Anniversary” MLB logo patch is sewn on the left shoulder and an MLB Authentic/Majestic manufacturers label with a size “50” and “+3 “body” flag tags on the front left tail.
Matching pants have blue and red side piping and mesh lined rear pockets and also contain MLB Authentic/Majestic label stitched into the waistband with a “36 Weaver 36-45 41 OB C 1969” strip tag. Uniform shows very light wear with a slight pine tar smudge on right pant leg and was most likely only worn for that one game.
