Before he was “known” by his real first name Giancarlo, Mike Stanton was hitting the ball very hard and for long distances when he first made the major leagues. In 2011, Stanton hit 34 home runs while driving in 87 runners. His game is just beginning to expand to one of the best overall. His name “GIANCARLO” is branded on the barrel, with the team name “FLORIDA MARLINS.” The franchise was known as Florida until 2012, when they changed their name to the Miami Marlins. This un-cracked 34 inch, 31 ounce Louisville Slugger U47 model bat shows tremendous evidence of game use with dozens of ball marks and stitch impressions, including blue ink transfers and white leather scuff marks plus many cleats marks. There is a large amount of Mota stick very high up on the handle, and the knob features the stamped dates of manufacture (08/25/11), length (34.0) and weight (31.0). If you are seeking a gamer from this young slugger, with absolutely outstanding wear, look no further. Simply Magnificent! Full LOA from PSA/DNA, cert number 1B08412.
