A native of the Philadelphia area who played his college basketball in the City of Brotherly Love at St. Joseph’s University, Jameer Nelson came back to help haunt his hometown in this game-used Orlando Magic jersey from the 2010-11 season. Nelson, the 20th overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft, scored 12 points and added eight assists while wearing this electric blue Magic jersey in a 99-95 victory over the 76ers on February 9, 2011. The sharp mesh Adidas jersey features “ORLANDO” across the chest in white-and-silver on black tackle twill and “NELSON” across the back in white tackle twill. Nelson’s number “14” appears on both sides in a white mesh design with silver-and-black tackle twill bordering. A stitched Magic logo patch appears below the back neck line of the jersey. An “Adidas” manufacturer’s tag is found on the front left tail of the jersey with “2/19/11” written in red Sharpie to indicate the game use date. The manufacturer’s tag also reads “XL” and “LENGTH +4.” The inside collar of the jersey features a white tag that reads “XL4.” The Nelson jersey shows light evidence of game use and comes with an LOA from the NBA and MeiGray Group, certification number “OMA00207.”
