Commissioned directly by “His Airness”, this 14K gold ring was presented by Michael Jordan to about 75 friends and associates who MJ wanted to thank for their help in the Chicago Bulls winning their fifth NBA World Championship. The top features an array of 90 real diamonds surrounding a black onyx stone which includes five more real diamonds, representing their five NBA titles. One shank features Jordan’s number “23” the Bulls mascot and team record of “69-13”. The other shank has “WORLD CHAMPIONS, an image of Michael’s NIKE silhouette and their playoff record of “15-4.” Inside the band of this size 9.5/39 gram ring is only the “14K” symbol. Please do not confuse this MJ Thank You ring with the one issued a year earlier, celebrating their fourth NBA title, which had CZ faux diamonds, and was only 10K gold. This is the “stepped version” and a great item presented to one of Jordan’s biggest supporters, who was beneficial to the Bulls unprecedented run of NBA titles. Near Mint condition.
