After winning his fourth overall Winston Cup Championship, these impressive rings were produced to commemorate the feat, and were presented to members of driver Jeff Gordon’s entourage and other NASCAR dignitaries. This 10K gold ring features Gordon’s number “24” on top of a synthetic blue stone, with the numbers covered with 17 white sapphires, surrounded by “2001 WINSTON CUP CHAMPIONS” on the perimeter. One shank has the “Jeff Gordon”: facsimile signature above the years of his four titles “95 ’97 ’98 ‘01” and a replica of the trophy. The other side has the name “WALSER” with the Hendrick Motorsport insignia, with “HJ 10K” stamped inside the band. Larry Walser was a technical Inspector for NASCAR for 22 years. Tremendous ring, and while we have seen at least one of these rings sold at auction prior, the previous ring did not have the sapphire stones in Gordon’s number. Near Mint condition. LOA from the Charlotte company who handled the sale for Walser.
