In what was likely the greatest upset in Heavyweight boxing history, a retread named James Douglas shocked the world by beating undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson. Not only did Douglas win the fight, he dominated from start to finish – even knocking down the previously untouched champ in the 9th round before punishing Tyson in the 10th, winning on a KO. This 14K yellow gold ring, is studded with real diamonds in the shape of the globe, surrounded by a boxing ring motif and the words “WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION JAMES DOUGLAS.” Each corner contains real diamond begets, and there is approximately 75 points of real diamonds. This was the actual style ring presented to Douglas’ entourage. One shank features “IBF WBA WBC Champion” while the other shank reads “TOE TO TOE IN TOKYO, DOUGLAS KOs TYSON ROUND 10 TOKYO FEB 11 1990.” The size 11/48 gram ring is stamped inside “JENKINS 14K”. A tremendous ring originating from the greatest upset in boxing history, and the beginning of the end of Mike Tyson.
