Featured is the cover page from Sports Illustrated issued Oct. 7, 1974, of then-Oakland Athletics’ Jim Hunter. Matted and framed, Jim “Catfish” Hunter signed this page across the neck in blue Sharpie. A silver plaque is engraved “JIM ‘CATFISH’ HUNTER NY YANKEES & OAKLAND A’s LEGEND” is center-mounted below the page. It is evident that the mailing label was removed as parts of the sticker are still attached to the cover. A tamper-proof sticker from JSA, number A45835, is affixed on the bottom right directly on the cover.
