Jamal Lewis rumbled his way to a productive nine-year career in the NFL, rushing for at least 1,000 yards seven times in a season over that span. Lewis ran for a league-high 2,066 yards as a member of the Ravens in 2003. The University of Tennessee product finished his career in Cleveland, where he surpassed the 10,000-yard mark for his career while with the Browns. This signed and game used helmet comes from Lewis’ 2008 season in Cleveland. The iconic orange helmet with two brown stripes and a white center features Lewis’ signature in bold, black Sharpie on the right side with the inscription “Games Used 2008.” The Riddell helmet with grey face mask features several decals, including an American flag and Lewis’ number “31” on the back right side. The back left features two honorary decals, the first a “GH” in memory of Browns Hall of Fame offensive guard Gene Hickerson, who died in October 2008, and the second for former executive director of the NFLPA, Gene Upshaw, who died in August 2008. The game-used helmet shows several signs of wear, including digs, scuffs and paint marks from opposing helmets. The inside of the Riddell helmet features a Cleveland Browns scan bar, number “1000000000004313.”The game-used helmet comes with a signed LOA by Jamal Lewis.
