As the American League’s premier slugger during the 1970s, Reggie Jackson used primarily Adirondack bats, and this 1971-1976 200RJ model bat is a great example of a Jackson gamer. Based upon factory ordering records, this bat was ordered and used by Jackson during the referenced labeling period. This 34.25 inch, 32.2 ounce bat is un-cracked and exhibits excellent game use. The back barrel contains some light deadwood (grain separation) from repeated ball contact. The barrel contains many ball marks and stitch impressions, plus some red and black rack marks. A light coating of pine tar appears on the handle. His name “REGGIE JACKSON” is imprinted on the barrel, the model number “200RJ” is stamped on the knob with his (at that time) number “9” written on the knob. The sweet spot contains a bold, black Sharpie “Reggie Jackson 44.” Full LOA from PSA/DNA, cert number 1B07437 for the bat authentication. COA from PSA/DNA, cert number V73134 for the signature.
