Though he started off 2007 slow, the Yankee superstar rebounded to hit .385 throughout July and finish the season with the stats New York fans have come to expect. This bat is a great example of his early years and significant in that is dates from the first summer he wore his now-famous number "24". Cano, who formerly donned number "22" until he relinquished it to Roger Clemens, selected "24" as an inverted tribute to his hero Jackie Robinson. Cano's Louisville Slugger G174 shows excellent use and is uncracked. Several ball marks with stitch impressions can be seen on the barrel as are ball marks with blue ink transfers and stitch imprints. There is a heavy coat of Mota stick on the handle and a light of pine tar on the center brand. Cano has signed this exquisite gamer between the stamped endorsement and center brand in blue marker, adding his number "24" and "Game Used 2007". A Cano hologram is affixed to the front barrel. This is a prime game used Robinson Cano bat with all the bells and whistles and PSA/DNA have awarded it their highest grade of GU 10 (1B03121).
