The Galbreath family owned the Pittsburgh Pirates form the late 1940s through the early 1980s, and won three World Series Championships while at the helm. Daniel Galbreath was the Pirates President for many years, and was honored by his fellow National League baseball executives for “has provided the League with outstanding leadership.” The 16.75 x 11.75 inch proclamation (visible portion) is handsomely framed to a dimension of 16.5 x 18.5 inches, and is signed by 15 National League executives. Includes beautiful signatures of Charles S. Feeney, NL President, John McMullen, Vice President, plus Marge Schott, Peter O’Malley, John McHale (twice), William Giles, and several others.
