When the world’s greatest basketball player stepped away from the game in his prime to give baseball a try, sports fans everywhere were shocked at Michael Jordan’s decision. Jordan, a six-time NBA champion, landed a brief stint in minor league baseball for Double-A Birmingham in 1994. The experiment lasted just one year before Jordan returned to his true calling. Jordan signed this OAL Gene A. Budig baseball in bold, blue ink next to the main stamping on front of the Rawlings ball. The baseball shows areas of yellow spotting, but is in overall good condition. The signed baseball comes with a JSA LOA, certification number “X93498.”
