The 2008 season was the final hurrah for the old Yankee Stadium, and this bullpen rubber was used during that final season. This 6 x 6 x 24 inch rubber was used in the Yankee bullpen from June 17 through June 22, 2008, from which Mariano Rivera recorded his 462, 463 and 464 career saves. The top is signed “Mariano Rivera Enter Sandman Career Saves #462, 463, 464.” Also, the bottom is noted “6/17-6/22 Home Bullpen” in blue Sharpie. Shows lots of evidence of “pre-game” use.
